Pity the male models of the world. As those female supermodels get all the magazine covers and the UPN reality series, the best a male model can hope for is a month-long stint as Tarzan on a WB drama. Bravo is looking to change some perceptions with the new unscripted offering "Manhunt: The Search for America's Most Gorgeous Male Model."

The cable network has ordered eight episodes of "Manhunt," which Bravo claims follows in the behind-the-scenes footsteps of upcoming series like "Project Greenlight," "Project Runway" and "Pilot Season."

Over the course of the eight hour-long episodes, 15 reasonably attractive men will travel around the country, seeing if they have what it takes to be America's next top male model. They're have to deal with cranky photographers, mastering the runway walk and dozens of other challenges that Tyra Banks has been teaching UPN viewers about for two season now.

Stuart Krasnow ("Average Joe") will produce the series. Bravo is currently taking applications from men who think they're hot. More information is available on the network's website.

"Manhunt" has no connection to the short-lived UPN series of the same name. That show, a rigged version of "The Most Dangerous Game," aired in the summer of 2001 and drew nearly as many FCC complaints as viewers.
